Sujata is a civil servant and a writer. She studied history at St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, and sociology at Jawaharlal Nehru University, and has dabbled with classical music and dance. She debuted as an author with a volume on health security, followed by an exuberant novella-like memoir for children. She lives in New Delhi with her son, Vivan, and her dogs, Tara and Trosky.
