THE PRESIDENTS CLUB
Inside the World's Most Exclusive Fraternity
By - NANCY GIBBS & MICHAEL DUFFY

About the Book
Over the years that followed-and to this day-the presidents relied on, misunderstood, sabotaged, and formed alliances with one another that changed history. The world's most exclusive fraternity is a complicated place: its members are bound forever because they sat in the Oval Office and know its secrets, yet they are immortal rivals for history's favour. Some presidents needed their predecessors to keep their secrets; others needed them to disappear. Truman enlisted Hoover to help him save Europe; Kennedy turned to Ike on Cuba; Nixon sought Johnson's advice on getting re-elected, but then tried to blackmail him; Ford and Carter couldn't stand each other until they saw what they had in common; Reagan and Clinton relied on Nixon as an emissary to Russia; Bush put Clinton and his father to work and they became like father and son; and Obama and Clinton became quiet rivals for the same crown. The Presidents Club will change the way we think about the presidency, for the club itself is an instrument of presidential power.

THE PERFECT GENTLEMAN
By- IMRAN AHMAD
ABOUT THE BOOK
Imran Ahmad shares his story of life as a Pakistani Muslim growing up in England in this appealing, humorous and poignant coming-of-age memoir that has received wide acclaim from the international literary world.
When he was a young boy, Imran Ahmad's parents entered him into a ''Bonnie Baby'' contest in his hometown of Karachi, Pakistan. Despite being dressed very smartly in black suit, white shirt and dark tie, Ahmad lost to the contest organizer's child. He was denied the title of ''Karachi's Bonniest Baby'' due to blatant nepotism. It was then, at the age of one, that Ahmad began his lifelong struggle against corruption and injustice.
Beginning with the particularly rainy day Ahmad was born and ending at the age of 43, reunited with a Christian classmate who had tried to convert him in grammar school, THE PERFECT GENTLEMAN is both deliciously funny and deeply insightful.
Ahmad shares his own story of growing up a Muslim boy torn between his Islamic identity and his desire to embrace the West. He muses on his eternal quest to be the quintessential English gentleman (James Bond), his yearning for the coolest car (Jaguar XJS), and his desire for the perfect girlfriend (preferably brunette but any kind considered).
With a unique style and unflinching honesty, THE PERFECT GENTLEMAN addresses serious issues in an extraordinarily light way and will leave readers thinking deeply and laughing out loud.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Imran Ahmad was born in Pakistan, grew up in London and went to university in Scotland, before pursuing a corporate career which has taken him all over the world, including five years living in the United States. His career has been mainly in finance and information technology, which he knows little about (but apparently this isn't a problem in management consulting). He is currently conducting a 50-city speaking tour of the United States.
